Laurentien: Trusted for Over 50 Years

Canadian-made yearbooks and student planners, crafted with unmatched expertise, quality, and reliability.

About Us

For more than fifty years, Laurentien has been a trusted partner for local schools, specializing in the design and production of yearbooks and student planners. A 100% Canadian company, we are proud to offer products that are entirely made in Canada, in collaboration with local partners who share our quality standards and values.

Every stage of our projects — from file verification to printing and delivery — is carried out in Canada. At Laurentien, the protection of student information is at the heart of our priorities: your data is hosted in Canada and handled in compliance with Canadian privacy laws governing the protection of personal information.

We work with more than 2,000 Canadian schools and deliver over one million yearbooks and student planners each year across the country. Our French-Canadian roots allow us to offer bilingual services, and we take pride in serving our clients in both official languages. These long-standing partnerships continue to grow as we evolve to meet the educational needs of today and tomorrow.

Our History

A passion for print

Laurentien was founded in 1971 by a fine arts and printing enthusiast. Originally a small family business in the Laurentien borough of St-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Québec, the company quickly gained recognition for its excellence, earning multiple Gutenberg awards for contributions to the art of printing. Our original clients included small and medium-sized businesses, government organizations, and schools seeking high-quality printed materials.

A focus on schools

Over time, our focus shifted to education, collaborating with school boards across Québec and eventually all of Canada. We developed a reputation for creating exceptional yearbooks and student planners, forming lasting partnerships with schools and educational institutions nationwide.

The story behind our Dalmatian

Boogie, our founder’s loyal dalmatian, was more than a pet—he was the heart of our office, embodying trust, teamwork, and dedication. His playful spirit and unwavering loyalty became a natural symbol of our mission to support schools with care and commitment. Today, boogie represents the genuine bonds we strive to build with every partnership, reminding us of the values that guide everything we do.

Laurentien and Marquis: A stronger future

In 2012, Laurentien joined the Marquis book printing family, aligning with over 600 industry experts and state-of-the-art production facilities. Together, we provide schools with innovative, cost-effective solutions for yearbooks, planners, and other educational projects, ensuring every product exceeds expectations.
